Methamphetamine & Pharmaceutical Crime Investigation Training Program

FirstPic, Inc., in collaboration with Fox Valley Technical College and the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI), provided training and technical assistance services for Methamphetamine & Pharmaceutical Crime Investigation training through funding provided by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance. FirstPic, Inc. assisted tribal providers such as law enforcement, other criminal justice personnel, first responders, social service providers, and community leaders interested in enhancing their enforcement and prevention responses to methamphetamine and pharmaceutical misuse. Under this contract, FirstPic, Inc.:

  • Provided 10 two-day regional trainings and two webinar trainings that offered more than 500 individuals instruction on interdiction and investigative strategies, forensic techniques, clandestine lab detection, enforcement, clean-up and safety, and demand reduction strategies.
  • Offered task force, advisory groups, and/or focus groups technical assistance to assist local tribal communities in the creation of a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary, multi-jurisdictional approach to combat methamphetamine and pharmaceutical abuse.
